Louis G. Parker, Esq. 

Lou is an owner and partner at Bennett Parker Law. Lou primarily handles bankruptcy, family law and estate planning matters for the firm. Lou also oversees the firm’s litigation practice and manages the firm’s day to day operations as well. Lou has been licensed for over a decade in Arizona and is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York as well.  
 
Lou is originally from New Jersey (not the part with the accent) and grew up in a small town along the Delaware River, just east of Philadelphia. After high school, Lou spent his summers at the Jersey Shore (not the part on TV) while he attended college at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He graduated after 3.5 years and then spent the rest of the time overseas, backpacking his way around Europe.
 
Upon his return to the United States, Lou began his law studies at Seton Hall University, School of Law, located in Newark, New Jersey (the part with the accent). After his first year, he began working during the week as a law clerk for a law firm (once featured in a “Soprano’s” episode) and on the weekends as a night club promoter and club host in New York City. Lou graduated law school and was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 2002. A few years later, Lou relocated to Arizona (the “dry heat” part) where he was admitted to practice in 2004.
 
Currently, Lou lives in Central Phoenix with his husband, Will, and their dog, Buddy (who occasionally wonders around Bennett Parker Law.) Lou describes himself primarily as a home-body and an extroverted introvert. In his off time, Lou enjoys playing computer games and is an avid and competitive gamer. It is highly unlikely that you will run into him out and about. However, if you have a computer, you may encounter him online.

When asked, Lou will mention that he always “knew” he would become a lawyer (yes, he listed it in his high school year book). Lou was exposed to the legal process at a very young age. As a child, he was involved in a motor vehicle accident which, due to the complexity of the case, dragged on for most of his early life. He has witnessed firsthand, the effects this process can have on the people involved. As a result, in his daily practice he endeavors to handle his client’s matters simply, directly and efficiently, without emphasis on the unnecessary. You will not find him in a suit. You will not hear him use lofty words. You may even initially mistake him for the file clerk. However, he is an experienced and talented attorney whose focus is always on the best interest of those he represents and his clients simply adore him.
